Carl Heastie, Speaker of the NY Assembly, didn't want to put the Build Public Renewables Act up for a vote, even though it had a majority! 

With a hearing on the bill scheduled virtually on July 28th, will Carl get the last laugh? Meanwhile, as the fabric of space time breaks down with the overproduction of multiverse movies- other Carls are coming to our Earth to help fight for the BPRA!

More about Build Public Renewables: New York State has a goal of achieving 70% wind + solar by 2030, but has no current PLAN in place to reach that goal. Without specific action from the government, private energy monopolies have no incentive to act boldly on climate, and providers like ConEd have been collecting profits without updating their grid for ages!! We need New York State to act. Call special session to pass BPRA, AS IT IS CURRENTLY WRITTEN, on August 3rd.
